SHAKTISENSE – Smart Women Safety Pendant

Abstract

Nowadays, cases of harassment, kidnapping, and unsafe situations for women are increasing day by day. Many times, women are not able to call for help during emergencies, and there is no proper system to quickly inform family members or police. (1)

To solve this problem, this project presents a Smart Women Safety Pendant, a small wearable device that helps in danger situations. The pendant includes a camera, microphone, and GPS, which work together to provide quick help. (3)

When the user presses the emergency button, the device immediately captures photos or videos, records surrounding sound, and finds the current location using GPS. (1)This information is sent instantly to family members and nearby police stations through a mobile network.(2)

The main aim of this project is to provide fast help and also collect proof (image, video, audio) during emergencies. It is easy to use, portable, and can be worn like a normal pendant. This system can improve women’s safety and give them more confidence in daily life.
